Lincourt Pinot Noir
The Lincourt Pinot Noir is sourced from vineyards
in two different cool-climate growing regions within
Santa Barbara County: the Santa Maria Valley and the
Santa Rita Hills. The diverse qualities of each
area help shape this wonderful expression of Pinot
Noir and make it possible to craft a complex wine
with layered aroma profiles. Employing gentle
punch-down techniques, the wine is vinified with extreme
care. Ultimately the wine spends up to 15 months in
French oak casks before bottling.

Lincourt Syrah
The versatile nature of Syrah allows the grape to
thrive in the varied microclimates of Santa Barbara
County. Lincourt Syrah is a tribute to this
versatility as it incorporates grapes grown in cool
vineyards with close proximity to the Pacific as well
as fruit from warmer, interior valley vineyards.
Grapes from various vineyard source are harvested
at ripeness, and are crushed, fermented and aged separately
in a combination of new and old French oak barrels.
After 18 months, the separate lots are blended and
then bottled.

Lincourt Cabernet Sauvignon
Planted in 1973, the La Cuesta Vineyard has all the
necessary physical attributes required in the cultivation
of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. Elevated, the 12-acre
vineyard sits above the winery on an undulating hillside.
Blessed with a southeastern exposure the idyllic soil
composition features gravel and chemise shale; allowing
for both good drainage as well as stressful conditions.
Devoted to 8 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, site-specific
conditions allow the fruit to achieve full ripeness
each vintage. Generally harvested in October the wine
is aged for 24 to 27 months in small, 60-gallon French
oak casks.

Merlot
Resting above the Winery on a plateau-hillside, the
La Cuesta Vineyard has matured into a premier source
for Merlot. Composed of gravelly chemise shale
soils, the vineyard lies on a southeastern facing
slope with excellent drainage. Planted in 1973,
the twelve-acre vineyard is devoted to 4 acres of
Merlot, which due to site-specific conditions yields
small amounts of concentrated fruit with elevated
tannin levels. Generally harvested in October
the wine is aged in French oak for 23 to 25 months
before being bottled.
